Process : Conceptual Design

Using the information developed in the previous two steps, mockups of the key pages within the web site are produced. These mockups are not yet functional web pages; they are simply paper drawings and compositions that establish the web site's visual aesthetic. In some cases the mockups may be developed further into functional prototypes; this is meant to validate that they will behave as we had planned. It is here also that all logos, graphics, photographs, animations, text copy and other digital assets are either created or acquired.

With these building blocks in hand it's time to move on to the actual coding, production & implementation.
